- Title
Motivating Staff: How to Adapt the Cascading Performance Scorecard System for Rehabilitation Settings.
- Authors
Rafacz, Sharlet D.
- Abstract
Motivating staff to provide quality performance, particularly within rehabilitation settings, can be challenging for administrators. Behavior Analysis, and specifically its application in organizations, provides evidence-based strategies for improving performance by employees. Rehabilitation settings can implement these strategies in a systematic way throughout the entire organization utilizing a cascading scorecard system. The cascading scorecard system has primarily been utilized in the for-profit sector, but can be adapted for use in rehabilitation settings. This article will review both key elements of this system and the modifications necessary for rehabilitation settings, and provide examples of its implementation.
