- Abstract
The article discusses significance of integrating scientific methods and policies of government in natural resources management in the U.S. It states a decision of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) concerning regulations for conservation of economically important duck populations and mentions adaptive resource management, which is a decision process used for ameliorating management actions pertaining to natural resources.
