- Abstract
The article explores the interpretive problems arising due to the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in the court case "Chevron, U.S.A., Inc. v. Natural Resources Defense Council Inc." to the contract law. It mentions that in the case the court ordered judges to defer to administrative agencies' reasonable interpretations of ambiguous statutes. It discusses the U.S. contract law's semi-tailored compromise approach.
