- Abstract
The article focuses on the flexural strength of In-Ceram fixed partial dentures (FPDs). It is stated that metal-ceramic FPDs do not always fit properly, and then they have to sectioned and soldiered together. The aim of this study is to determine the feasibility of joining In-Ceram bars together and to compare the flexural strength or modulus of rupture (MOR) of several methods used to connect In-Ceram bars. In an experiment, the mean MOR and standard deviation were calculated for three groups in which Acrylic bars were connected differently in In-Ceram procedures.
