- Abstract
The article discusses the effect of post-war agricultural changes on the economic conditions of Spain, with a focus on the status of large landowners residing in Madrid, Spain at that time. It is the author's view that the agricultural policy of the government of President Francisco Franco produced a transformation in land tenure, due to the transition from a traditional agriculture to a large-scale production.
