- Abstract
The article reviews how Florida courts navigate the amended Florida Rule of Civil Procedure 1.510, which regulates summary judgment motion. Topics discussed include effects of the amended rule on non-moving parties, reduction of multi-count complaints to single-count complaints, jurors' use of practical judgment when deciding a verdict in civil disputes, and increase in settlements after a court rules on summary judgment motions.
