- Abstract
The article discusses the implementation and the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). It explores the refusal of the U.S. to ratify the CRC due to its focus on multilateral treaty relations, religious conservatism, and isolationism. It highlights the problems on the use of "best interests of the child" as center of CRC. It also mentions declarations and conventions that meet concerns of CRC including The 1948 Declaration of the Rights of the Child.
