- Authors
Bates, Kathryn Brooke
- Abstract
The article focuses on the evaluation of security interest law in issuing the licenses of Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the U.S. independent agency, considering bankruptcy code. It discusses bankruptcy court decisions in In re Ridgley Commc'ns, Inc., In re Cheskey, and In re Tracy Broad. Corp. cases that accentuate dubious conclusions. It informs that security interest in a broadcast entity is risky as the FCC license termination causes ruinous effect on the security interest.
