- Abstract
The article focuses on background to an intriguing episode whereby the government used early crowd sourcing methods to purchase aircraft in World War II. It mentions U.S. First World War, War Bonds and Stamps were originally named Liberty Bonds, and renamed as War Bonds starting after the 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. It also mentions U.S. Air Force fighter aircraft like the F–22 Raptor for maintaining its national security through global air dominance.
