- Abstract
The article discusses preparation of morphology-controlled hollow carbonaceous particles (HCPs) in simple emulsion system. HCPs are known for their unique properties including chemical stability, thermal insulation, light weight and catalyst supports. The process comprised of dissolving chemical reagents like formaldehyde, lysine, dihydroxybenzoic acid and cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide in absolute ethyl alcohol followed by drying of obtained precipitate.
