- Abstract
An essay is presented that analyzes social relationships within and between species, including humans, wild chimpanzees, baboons, and dolphins. The author discusses her experience of studying the interaction between dogs. Throughout the essay, she discusses animal social behavior as an alterable intersubjective experience. The essay states that the distinction between human and nonhuman beings diminishes as other individual animal identities present themselves.
