The article informs about the coal dust standards released by the U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). Topics discussed include decreasing miners' coal dust exposure from two to 1.5 milligrams per cubic meter of air and from one to 0.5 for certain mine entries and miners with pneumoconiosis , views of National Mining Association (NMA) president Hal Quinn on the standards, and the plan of Murray Energy Corp. to sue the U.S. Department of Labor. in response to the standards.
