- Title
Structural biology: Proteins in dynamic equilibrium.
- Authors
Bernadó, Pau; Blackledge, Martin
- Abstract
The article discusses the report titled "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences," on the ways to measure protein molecules in solution of different conformations. It states that a combination of computational simulations and X-ray scattering data experiments enable the observation of sizes and shifts in the equilibrium populations. Moreover, the authors look into proteins involving atomic fluctuations and the studies on multi-domain tyrosine kinase enzyme, Hck, and its activation.
