- Title
Dangerous nuclear whispers.
- Abstract
The author reflects on the opposition of some members of U.S. President Barack Obama's administration towards his non-proliferation efforts. The author relates the lobbying efforts of Defence Secretary, Robert Gates to build a reliable nuclear weapon. The author mentions that scientists contended that it will be irresponsible to deploy a weapon without testing it first, thus Gates is leading a review of the weapon. Non-proliferation activities that will be enforced by Obama are also highlighted.
