- Abstract
The article discusses the containment methods that prevent transgenic crops from mixing with normal crops and entering the food chain. Several tough regulations are already in place, but the author presents examples where the crop seeds found their way. Governments and farmers are jointly working on containment measures, but the author suggests that human error is the most potent risk. The cases of LLRICE 601 and Bt10 corn (Maize) are highlighted.
