- Abstract
Use of the Periodic System of Elements for analyzing the physicomechanical properties of chemical fibres was examined. An equation that quantitatively describes the periodicity of the change in the physical and chemical properties of the elements with an increase in their atomic weight is proposed, where the atomic radius is directly proportional to the square of a whole number, the square root of the gravitational constant and the mass of the atom and inversely proportional to the square root of the velocity of light and the frequency characteristics of the nucleus.
