- Abstract
The article presents an experiment of two-stage soil column which includes capillary rise and evaporation to improve understanding of salt and water movement from groundwater to soil surface. It states that the numerical results of the cation distributions in both solid and liquid phase and anions in the liquid phase were relatively in good agreement with the experimental results. Moreover, soil water profile showed a steady behavior around 10 days after the experiments began.
