- Authors
Ferrari, Chiara
- Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the thematic and stylistic influences of Jean Jacques Rousseau to the Italian autobiographical work "Vita," by Vittorio Alfieri. It provides an overview of how Rousseau's "Confessions" is depicted in Italian autobiography, which led to the introverted model of exploration of the self. It also explores the representation of egalitarianism and feministic views, as well as the analysis of the narrative of "Vita."
