The article reports the need to investigate the impact of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and their unfair practices that effect patient access to safe and affordable pharmaceutical care by Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Topics discussed include that the Association for Accessible Medicines (AAM) points out unfair trade practices by PBM that effects adversely to America's patients, PBM practices harm patient access to low-cost medicine and effects economically to America's healthcare system.
