- Abstract
The article presents the study on the implication of thermal regimes at 25 sites in the 2000 square kilometer Dee catchments in the Northeast of Scotland. It cites that the temperature observations are used with geographic information system analysis to identify the dominant landscape controls in stream temperatures. It discusses the role and influence of riparian forest cover and the distance to coast to the catchment-wide distribution and stream temperatures.
