- Abstract
The article focuses on a Wellness and Fitness Club meant for students, teachers, and parents. The club's main objectives are to improve health, relieve stress, and help build self-esteem. There is a meeting of the members of the club once in a week for two hours. In the meeting, they are encouraged to practice daily health practices that include nutrition and physical activity. The club gives parents time to get off work and participate with their children. There is encouragement given by the club for its members for incorporating physical fitness into their lifestyle by being active in some type of physical movement every day. This year there has been the development of Jump Rope club and Dance club and Step club. Due to this there has been an increase in the number of membership, especially among the girls. There are some tips for cutting sugar. Like, one should use less sugar, raw sugar, honey, and syrup. Foods containing sugar such as candy, cookies, and soft drinks should be eaten in a low quantity.
