- Abstract
In recent years, boutique homestay in tourism villages has flourished in the suburban of Beijing, but its sustainable development requires to truly respect farmers' willingness of renting house and explore its influencing factors. Using interactive classification, detailed analysis, one-way ANOVA and other methods, 84 families in tourism villages such as Baihebei, Shuangwenpu, and Babaotang are studied empirically. The results show that household income and bidding rent have a direct effect on the willingness of renting rural house; household income affects the effect of bidding rent on the willingness; low income families are the main force in the development of boutique homestay; and main factors of low income are absolutely age, education level and village support. Now the boutique homestay development is in a low level. In order to promote its level and benefit the urban and rural areas, some measures must be done such as introducing powerful developers, guiding the steady increase of bidding rent, paying attention to the interests and demands of low-income families, and paying attention to the quality of pension space.
