- Abstract
Heart disease is a globally prevalent chronic disease, affecting millions of people each year, is a financial burden, and is a leading cause of death. Age-related changes, chronic inflammation, high blood pressure and diabetes are all causes and risk factors for heart disease.The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identifies high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and smoking as three main risk factors for heart disease. There are many different types of heart disease, but most people find out they have the disease after symptoms such as chest pain and heart attack. Accordingly, we propose a modeling that can predict heart disease before negative consequences of heart health such as myocardial infarction occur, and emphasize the importance of preventive measures for heart disease. These various factors are modeled and predicted through a classification algorithm, and which algorithm is good is evaluated through Accuracy and F1-Score. In addition, better results are obtained by adjusting the hyperparameters of the XGBoost model to get better results.
