- Abstract
The performance study of friction pairs of brake shoes - brake disc is a key problem in designing the hoist disc brakes, which has important influence on its performance and lifespan. In order to explore the deep-seated causes of mine safety accidents, examine some important kernel parameters of the friction performance of asbestos-free brake shoe, use a XDZ-B friction material sampling machine, a X-DMZ friction tester and other equipments, simulate the actual conditions parameters, The effects of nominal contact pressure, sliding velocity and temperature on the tribological behavior of asbestos-free brake shoes -16 Mn are controlled. The experimental results show: In the case the contact surface temperature is substantially constant, the experimental curves of the friction coefficient increase with the increase of the nominal contact pressure and decrease with the sliding velocity, the effect of sliding velocity on the friction coefficient is greater than that of the nominal contact pressure. The u - µ curve and the p - µ curve show the friction coefficient decreases with increase of temperature, the relative sliding velocity and the nominal contact pressure have a significant influence on the decrease amplitude of the friction coefficient. Take P · u for the parameter, explore the relationship between the value of P · u and the friction coefficient, the important frictional significance of the relationship between the P · u and the friction coefficient is illustrated by chart. The experimental data and their analysis show that it is necessary that the friction coefficient of the brake shoe is a variable in the design of disc brakes.
