- Title
¿QUIÉN FUE "PLATÓN"? ALMA, CIUDAD Y ANALOGÍA.
- Authors
MENDLEWICZ, MIQUEL SEGURO
- Abstract
This text tackles two differentiated goals. On the one side, it aims to offer a wide book review on Plato's relationship between soul and Polis. On the other, it looks upon a variety of "Platos" as clichés, dwelling in the heart of the philosopher-man Plato was, and to this task two central moments of The Republic and The Politician are compared to state two different ways to understand what a politician should be. Conviction that fells like behind this approach is there is no way to understand Plato's work as a unitary system, rather as an exposition of possible "different" philosophies.
