- Abstract
The article critiques the 1914-1915 South African cartoon film series, comprised of short films, titled "Topicality," (referred to as "Santry's Topicalities") developed by Denis Santry. An overview of the depiction of the Great War, or World War I, in "Santry's Topicalities," including in regard to patriotism towards Great Britain in the films, is provided.
