- Abstract
The article presents a study which evaluates the development of the parasite Plasmodium circumflexum in a juvenile Shikra (Accipiter badius). The study used electron microscopy, sequence analysis, and transmission electron microscopic examination. Results show that the parasites were related to parasites found in the Brown hawl-owl from Singapore and Grey-headed woodpecker from Myanmar.
