- Abstract
The article discusses a paradigm which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is considering in 2012 and which would expand the definition of nonprescription drugs. A discussion of the opinions that several health care experts, including Eileen Wood of Capital District Physicians' Health Plan, Frederick Bender of the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, South Carolina and Cynthia Reilly of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, have about the paradigm, is presented.
