- Authors

- Abstract
Analogically situated experiences are innovative pedagogical methods that incorporate principles of analogically learning, situated learning, and experiential learning. The analogical situated experience involves immersing participants in a novel, simulated context specifically chosen and designed to produce an insightful learning about the participants' work context. I explain the theoretical rationale for the success of analogically situated experiences and argue that traits executives exhibit as experts in their field make analogically situated experiences particularly suited for executive education students.
