The author reflects on the implication of journalism education and the lessons that students should know about it. He believes that reporting is not a passive enterprise, but rather a moral one and encourages students to create a set of ethical imperatives as guideline for journalism. He discusses the components of a good journalism and the critical role played by journalism educators in the learning of their students.
