- Abstract
The article discusses the high-tech corporation Dealer Trade Group's attempts to gain a competitive advantage against various competitors in the traditional auto wholesaling industry. Several key issues are discussed in the article, including who would be the best leader for the company, as well as when they should or should not transfer power to another. Several problems can arise when entering an already established industry with an innovative business model, including unchangeable social practices, fully formed networks and institutions, and inertia.
