- Authors
Georgieva, Adriana
- Abstract
An overview about the mutual relationships between XML standard and two important XML technologies - XSLT and XPath is presented in this paper. The proposed analysis shows the theoretical ground and some simple applications of analyzed mathematical tools in these XML-based technologies. The further performance improvements are also outlined, with a particular emphasis on formal composition of Web Services architecture, based on Z notation. Advantages and disadvantages of the different mathematical models are also presented. The queries are realized by both languages XSLT and XPath.
