- Abstract
The article discusses the collapse coverage which has been expanded by the courts in 2005. It is said that the term collapse in the field of insurance policy means a substantial impairment of structural integrity. It is cited that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has addressed the issue of insurance policy and what constitutes the collapse. The policy does not include settling, cracking, shrinkage, bulging or expansion. The article also offers information on the case 401 Fourth St. v. Investors Ins. Group.
