- Abstract
The article discusses the need for teachers in Canada to call for pension plan divestment from the fossil fuel industry. Topics covered include the times that educators have questioned some of the investments of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP) on ethical grounds, the power of divestment in sending a powerful political message on a number of social and environmental justice issues, and the use of divestment campaign in the fight against climate change.
