- Abstract
The article focuses on the Section 2 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms which involves basic freedoms such as thought, belief and expression. Topics discussed include the British Columbia Teachers' Federation's (BCTF) effort in establishing freedom of expression despite the school districts' implementation of disciplinary action, the grievance by the BCTF against school prohibitions, and a decision by the Ontario Labour Relations Board in support of teachers' freedom of speech.
