- Abstract
The article examines the presence of bacteria Francisella noatunensis subsp. orientalis (Fno) in cultured Nile tilapia in three Brazilian states. The bacteria is reportedly considered as one of the most important diseases of cultured tilapia globally. A quantitative PCR was used to target the Fno intracellular growth loci C gene in a molecular diagnosis.
