- Abstract
NCHD (National Commission for Human Development) intend to support the government to achieve 100% enrollment at primary schools and to release school in those remote areas where no government primary school is present. NCHD education program is designed for supporting achievement of Govt. of Pakistan EFA (Education For All) goals i.e. contribute to 100% improvement in literacy rate through, training of teachers, hands-on facilitation to teachers and induction of volunteers in school affairs. The basic purpose of this study was to analyze the perception of teachers and NCHD staff regarding the role of NCHD in the promotion of primary education. All Government boys' primary school teachers and NCHD staff members in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were taken as the population of the study and all the Govt. boys' primary school teachers and NCHD staff members of four districts namely Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat and Dera Ismail Khan were taken as the target population. Out of these 200 primary school teachers and 100 NCHD staff members were selected randomly from the selected districts.
