- Title
Testimonial Literatures: An Infroduction.
- Authors
Armstrong, S.
- Abstract
The article discusses the issues about testimonial literature. It notes that literature is commonly produced by members of the dominant classes in society while subaltern people have been powerless in presenting themselves in the literary world. According to author Nancy Saporta Sternbach that testimonial literature of women is a response to the military repression of the 1970s and places it within the context of women and resistance in Latin America.
