- Authors
Honneth, Axel
- Abstract
The article presents information on the interest of human beings in overcoming dependencies and heteronomy and it being an important part of critical social theory. Topics include sociologist Jürgen Habermas's take on this idea in his book "Knowledge and Human Interests", his point of view being that humans have a penchant of trying to solve unrecognized dependencies, and this theory arising from his familiarity with human knowledge.
