- Abstract
However, in 2/11 mother-infant pairs, we could not exclude the possibility that positive infantile IgG was transferred maternal antibodies rather than infantile antibodies in response to infection because of age < 8 months and no prior negative result. We found only four asymptomatic individuals with positive SARS-CoV-2 RNA and very limited positive SARS-CoV-2 IgM and IgG serology. SARS-CoV-2 causes a clinical syndrome (COVID-19) with a spectrum of mild-to-severe manifestations.
