- Abstract
This article, published in the Journal of Plant Pathology, reports on the first occurrence of Fusarium tricinctum causing root rot on sugar beet plants in Morocco. The study describes the symptoms of the disease, the characteristics of the fungal isolate, and the molecular identification of the pathogen. The researchers conducted inoculation experiments to confirm the pathogenicity of the isolate and re-isolated the pathogen from infected plants. This finding contributes to the understanding of sugar beet diseases in Morocco and provides valuable information for farmers and researchers in the field of plant pathology.
