- Abstract
The article discusses the minority approach for protection of the majority of kentucky consumers and relaxment of the privity requirement for implied warranties of merchantablity. Topics discussed include the Uniform Commercial Code that provides the governing law for warranties, the difference between express and implied warranties and interpretation of the privity requirement for a breach of implied warranty claim. It also discusses the case Nobility Homes of Texas Inc. v. Shivers.
