- Abstract
The article presents information on research papers presented at the symposium entitled "A leper is like a dead person," which was held at the Van Leer Institute in Jerusalem, Israel on June 2, 2010. Comments are presented on the history of leprosy in Judaism and rabbinical literature by experts including Professor Zohar Amar of Bar Ilan University, Dr. Esti Dvorjetsky of Oxford Brookes University, and Professor Chaim Cohen of Ben Gurion University.
