- Abstract
The article presents a study that evaluates the after-hours physician care for patients with do-not-resuscitate orders in the general medicine ward. The study compares patients with and without a do-not-resuscitate order in demographics, reasons for calling, residents' response, and nurses' satisfaction. It reveals that abnormal vital signs is the leading reason for calls.
