- Abstract
The article focuses on the decreasing affordability of legal education in the U.S. it analyzes the ratio between the average fees in relation to average salaries of law school graduates by using the formula of debt-to-income ratio associated with mortgages. It addresses to the affordability of legal education that varies among public and private law schools with different Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and Grade Point Average (GPA) profiles.
