- Abstract
The article focuses on remedial measures to reform organizational police misconduct and corruption such as exclusionary rule, criminal suits against police officers, and internal police investigations. It provides information that the U.S. law enforcement agencies are conducting community policing programs to reform transparency and accountability issues in police agencies. It depicts that such program provides opportunity for community members to take part in identify the problems and provide solution regarding them. It emphasized that federal government should encourage community involvement in the selection and recruitment of police officers.
