- Abstract
The article features English artist Barbara Jones. Since no commercial exhibitions were held in her lifetime, her paintings and sketches spanning more than forty years of work were showcased during an exhibition at Katherine House Gallery in Marlborough, Wiltshire in England in July 1999. The work of Jones, who studied at the Royal College of Art, is known for its character and extreme idiosyncrasy. She is said to have excelled as a mural painter, poster designer, writer and illustrator, lithographer and watercolourist.
