- Abstract
The article discusses puppetry in the context of the Spanish classical theater. It analyzes comedy plays including El burlador de Sevilla by dramatist Tirso de Molina, which impacted the audience with collective imaginary. It presents the analysis of puppetry in literate plays, especially that of religious, ideal literature as well as classics centered on symbolism.
