- Abstract
The article reports on research which was conducted to investigate whether high coated-platelet levels were associated with cognitive impairment in patients with carotid atherosclerosis. Researchers evaluated 60 patients and found that 57% had evidence of cognitive impairment and concluded that cognitive impairment was associated with high-coated platelet levels.
