- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 71-year-old woman with fever of 38 degree and weight loss. Positron emission tomography/computed tomography imaging showed intense 2-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose uptake by lymph nodes. Biopsy of a lymph node from the left side of the neck demonstrated scattered mononuclear Hodgkin and multinuclear Reed-Sternberg (HRS) cells. Lymphocyte-rich classical Hodgkin lymphoma was diagnosed and was treated with doxorubicin, bleomycin, vinblastine and dacarbazine.
